In my last email I had thrown a couple of dates out for a Stick Contest and a Quickie Race. We are going to stick with the Quickie Race date of March 27 but we are moving the Stick Contest up to this month...to February 20. This is because it had been so long since we had held a Stick Contest and this spreads things out a little. So you've got two weeks to dust your stick plane off and charge the batteries. Hopefully we'll get a Saturday without rain, something that has been hard to come by lately.
I am sending this email from Bill's email here at Hodges Hobbies hoping they all get through as we have had problems sending from my email to Bellsouth recipients. We have been in touch with them but apparently haven't solved the problem yet. Evidently they are perceiving the emails as spam.
Thanks to Terry Morgan, our webmaster, we've finally gotten most of the planes hanging for sale in the shop on the website. Go to www.hodgeshobbies.com and click on the For Sale section.
We have the new E-flite 4-Site and the Parkzone Micro J-3 Cub in stock. Both fly great. Buddy has over 100 flights on his 4-Site flying mostly in the gym and in his yard early in the morning when the air is calm. We have flown the Cub quite a bit here at the shop and we are impressed with how it flies and how long it flies on a charge.
