Airmasters Model Airplane Club
Airmasters Model Airplane Club (formerly Albany Model Airplane Club) is a great group of folks sharing the common interest of RC aircraft. The club flying site is located in Lee County, GA on State Hwy 32E. It’s just east of Lee County Public Works, at the intersection of Hwy 32 and Mossey Dell Road.
The club has been in existence since before WWII, and has evolved from rubber band powered craft to radio controlled aircraft. AMAC became a chartered member (# 222) of the Academy of Model Aeronautics in about 1968. We have been an AMA Gold Leader Club for the last six years.
AMAC has several members capable of teaching those interested how to fly remote control airplanes. The club has a “trainer” style plane and radio transmitter available for use by newcomers, at no charge. Instructors are at the club field most Saturday and Sunday afternoons, weather permitting. New members and spectators are always welcome.
The club currently has approximately 50 members and our membership is not restricted in any way. We do collect dues on an annual basis to cover our expenses. A current AMA license, or proof of application, is required to fly at the AMAC field.

Atlanta Indoor RC Aircraft
Welcome to Atlanta Indoor RC. Our current group consists of about 50 or so pilots from around the Atlanta, central GA and eastern Alabama area. We are not a formal club...just a group of folks having a good time flying some neat models inside. As of November 21, we just secured a huge new indoor facility pictured to the right. Our current schedule is basically every 3 weeks on various days. The schedule is listed below. All pilots chip in to pay for the rental fee every time we fly. The current plan at the new facility is that we will take a $10 collection per person at each session. Any funds collected over our rental fee will be put in a "rainy day fund" for future needs.

Columbus-Ft. Benning RC Flyers
The RC Flyers were chartered in 1973 by the Academy of Model Aeronautics as AMA club #217, and is now one of the oldest clubs still in existence. The RC Flyers brings together modelers of all ages to enjoy and promote safe Radio Control flying. The club meets once each month during the year for club business and fellowship. A local flying site is maintained by the club and is open to all members throughout the year. The club sponsors “open flying and swap events” each year at the club field which brings in AMA modelers, pilots and spectators from all over the area. These events are free to the public and all types of helicopters and planes can be seen. All club members must be a member of the AMA thereby assuring that all members are covered with insurance while flying at the club’s field or any club event. The RC Flyers participates in a number of local public events during the year
